Incognito in Canada?

I read it was coming but there was no ETA. Any update to that? It could be just the thing for a three-across I'm contemplating.

It's not out in the US yet, so we've got some time to wait. I think it's due out there in one or two of the colours at the end of October.

I talked to Dorel when I was at KIM and they said they are planning to bring it to Canada but they had no ETA at all. Expected price point would be under $30, but it sounded to me like testing wasn't done yet and it would be quite awhile before we saw it up here.

eta: I have heard whisperings that it may be difficult to test to CMVSS so it might be something we shouldn't hold our breath for.

Does a booster need to pass the inversion testing for cmvss?

No, inversion testing is done only for harnessed restraints on an aircraft seat. Boosters do need to pass dynamic testing now though. That is relatively new.

Thanks. That is what I thought.

Figure there must be a reason without armrests will have a hard time passing our testing (bubble bum, incognito - but the have little clips I think)

I emailed Safety 1st about a moth ago and the incognito should be in Canada by year end! Looking forward to it, and hoping it really is here by then as my 9 year old's booster expires in December, and I really don't want to buy another regular booster for him. Incognito is what we want.
