    My Costco still had some mermaids last week, if you're a member.

    No costco the only costumes I have found in person start at a six. I guess we will be ordering one online

    Have you tried the size 6 on? I have found that most costumes run small.

    I made a no sew one when DD was 3. It was really easy. I took felt, cut out a front and back of a tail. I left extra belts on top to secure around her waist. I cut out circles of green metallic Lycra to make scales on front and back. I glued some strategically cut green lining to the bottom to create some volume in the tail fins. I used an old bikini top I had and pasted some shells on it. I used a hot glue gun for everything.
