W.S. Badger Co. Inc. today announced it is voluntarily recalling all lots of its 4-ounce SPF 30 Baby Sunscreen Lotion and one lot of its 4-ounce SPF 30 Kids Sunscreen Lotion (lot # 3164A) due to microbial contamination. Both sunscreens are sold in the USA & Canada online and at major retailers as well as independent food co-ops and pharmacies.

Toys R Us Recalls Journey Girl Travel Trunks Due to Laceration Hazard. Sold exclusively at Toys R Us stores nationwide and online at www.toysrus.com from October 2012 through February 2013 for about $30.

Votive Candle Holders Sold at Cracker Barrel Old Country Store Recalled Due to Fire Hazard. Sold exclusively at Cracker Barrel Old Country Store locations nationwide from May 2013 through June 2013 for about $6.

Schneider Electric Recalls APC Surge Protectors Due to Fire Hazard. Sold at Best Buy, Circuit City, CompUSA, and other stores nationwide from January 1993 through December 2002 for between $13 and $50.

Festool Recalls Plunge Cut Circular Saw Due to Laceration Hazard. Sold at Hardware stores, woodworking stores and other independent retailers, as well as online retailers such as www.amazon.com from May 2013 to July 2013 for approximately $585.

Garden-Fresh Foods is initiating an expansion to our voluntary recall on various ready-to-eat salads, slaw, and dip products sold under various brands and code dates (Market Pantry, Archer Farms, D'Amico and Sons , Roundy's, Grandpa's, Maggie's , Fresh Salsa, Finest Traditions , Chef's Kitchen , Garden-Fresh, Weis , Spartan, Portillo's). The products may be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes. Products are sold in various size containers (6oz to 18oz packages). The products were distributed in the following states: WI, MN, IA, IL, OH, IN, TX, FL, MA, MO, MI, PA, AZ, CA, and distributed to retail stores and food services.

Afikim Electric Vehicles initiated a nationwide recall of 69 Breeze C Scooters. The Breeze C Scooter may become unresponsive during operation due to an electrical contact which may fault due to extensive wear, which potentially could result in the driver not being able to stop the scooter during operation except by turning off the ignition key.

Haute Health, LLC is voluntarily recalling all lots of Virilis Pro, PHUK and Prolifta at the retail and consumer level. Virilis Pro, PHUK and Prolifta have been found to contain amounts of the PDE-5 Inhibitor sildenafil, which is an active ingredient in an FDA-approved drug for erectile dysfunction (ED). Virilis Pro, PHUK and Prolifta are labeled and intended to be used as dietary supplements for sexual enhancement.

Big Blue Fisheries is recalling ALL smoked products from all lots and codes, various sizes, in vacuum packages because the products may not have been properly cooked and have the potential to be contaminated with Clostridium botulinum. The firm’s products sold under Big Blue Fisheries brand and Sitka Alaska Smoked Fish were distributed locally in Sitka, Alaska and wholesale nationwide between 09/24/11 to 09/24/13. OnTime Distribution Inc. of Brooklyn, NY, is voluntarily recalling PRAN brand Spice Powder TURMERIC because it was found to contain high levels of lead that could cause health problems to consumers. PRAN brand Spice Powder TURMERIC was distributed in New York and New Jersey through retail stores and direct delivery.

H&H Medical Corporation initiated a nationwide recall of 6,619 units of the H&H Emergency Cricothyrotomy Kit. The product has been found to show the potential for a defective cuff balloon on the provided endotracheal airway.

Hospira, Inc. (NYSE: HSP), announced today it has initiated a voluntary nationwide recall of one lot of 1% Lidocaine HCI Injection, USP, 10 mg/mL, 20 mL Multiple-dose Fliptop Vial, NDC 0409-4276-01 Lot 25-090-DK (the lot number may be followed by 01 or 02). This action is due to one confirmed customer report of visible particulate, identified in the primary container, in the form of dark red/black particles. The particulate was identified as oxidized stainless steel.

Siberoni, a Portland, Ore. firm, is recalling an undetermined amount of raw and frozen meat and poultry “pelmeni” (Eastern European-style ravioli products) which were produced without the benefit of inspection. The products were produced prior to September 6, 2013 and were sold directly from the firm’s storefront and, via a distributor, to retail outlets in Oregon and Washington State.

Central Valley Meat Company, a Hanford, Calif., establishment, is recalling approximately 89,720 pounds of ground beef that may contain small pieces of plastic. The products were shipped to distribution centers in Arkansas, Nebraska, and North Carolina and intended for use by the National School Lunch Program.
