Pioneer 70 performance without ta?

Anyone know? A client just got a pioneer 70 for her almost four year old to replace the seat that was in a roll over accident. She's using an older car now since the other car was nearly totaled. Older car doesn't have tas. I gave the part number and she will be having them retrofitted but probably not for a few weeks. Thoughts? He's 3.5, about 45lbs and wears size 5 clothes if it makes a difference.
