Does head slump get better or worse with age? or stay the same?

I have installed an RXT RF with no AA in my Honda Fit for my nearly 15 month old and he has terrible head slump when he sleeps. No slump at all in the CCO. The RXT is as reclined as I can make it in the Fit and he is still flopping all over the place. Is this something that is likely to improve with age, or should I move the RXT to my husband's car (which he barely rides in) and get a MR or S4M instead? He has a ginormous torso, so a tall seat is essential.

How long have you been using it? I've found my kids slumping inconsistaNT, even in the same seat. Sometimes they'll be all laid back and relaxed, sometimes they'll be just about bent in half. Could just be a fluke thing? My little guy has not fallen asleep in the rxt at all yet (I got one recently) but I can't see why he'd sleep any different than in his marathon.

I think it is the angle and the "straightness" of the seat. I wish I could recline it more, but then the passenger seat would be unusable. I am mostly wondering if I can expect this problem to decrease as he grows, or if he will slump in it regardless of his size. Should I keep it as his primary seat or move it to Dad's car and get something else for my car?

I'd give it some time for him to learn how to sleep in his new seat. When I moved my oldest from a Truefit (that has pretty deep side wings) to a Frontier 85, he had trouble figuring out how to sleep the first couple of times he slept in the new seat. He just couldn't figure out how to position his head to have support. In the Truefit, he just leaned a little to the side and his whole body was supported, but that doesn't happen for him in the frontier. Now he doesn't slump at all that he's got it figured out.
