I see this is out now. http://www.britaxusa.com/accessories/seat-saver-waterproof-liner It certainly would be nice to not have to use those disposable pads when wearing wet swimsuits! Anyone tried this? How well does it work? It claims to work with all Britax harnessed seat. But how does that little hole line up with the crotch strap for all their convertibles and Frontier crotch strap positions?
I saw that too and want one! But I wanted some feedback first too!

Ugh. It looks like another britax rebranded eddie baur product which is for some reason safe when the other one supposedly is not. We had an eddie baur one for pee accidents and I was never impressed with it. (Actually I had 2 brands, I forget what the second one was...) I was never impressed with it. Having to move it to be sure it was in the right place with the kid sat down and didn't bunch. I can't see why it would be any better. We only had to worry on long trips and we found it easier just to use pull ups then. For bathing suits... I can't imaging riding in a wet bathing suit is very pleasant anyway. Is there no time to dry off or change?

eta - summer - one of them was summer http://www.toysrus.com/product/inde...5903609&camp=PLAPPC-_-PID5903609&KPID=5903609

It looks a lot like the Summer Infant one to me. I love mine it's much better than the Diono version.

What other products of theirs were Eddie Bauer. I really don't think much of Eddie Bauer car seat products, but haven't used Britax' other accessories, so I didn't know about this. I had considered their static cling shades for the windows .. are those not good?

We do dry off, of course, but the suits still hold enough wet to leave the car seat quite damp. Some places there isn't a good changing area and a 7 yo girl is getting a little old to just change out in the open, although if we really need to ... I agree about it being uncomfortable (and unhealthy) for a longer time, but this would be a short drive home.

Good to know, although I still suspect it wouldn't fit the Frontier properly, so I'll probably stick with the disposables. We can usually change, so this is only for the very occasional situation. ;)

I've only used pee catchers on RF seats but I can toss one in the Frontier when I get home just to see if it fits.

There is the body snuggler ... I forget what it is called... body support? It is like a snuzzler... Basically you're not supposed to use it because it might not be safe. But Britax has one now they have tested. I have not physically handled the britax one but it looks like a dead ringer. I understand in principal that Britax tested theirs, but it is still kind of hypocritical for one to pass and one to not be OK when the ONLY difference is the britax tag.

I can see if I can dig my piddle pad out and take a pic in a fr85 for you. It worked kind of well but I never felt I could trust it to hold a whole bladder of pee. For a wet swim suit it is probably OK

I'm wondering if it lines up with the bigger kid crotch strap slots, both the middle and outermost slots. thanks!!!
