My friend who is a nanny got a new scenera for the little boy she watches. He will be 1 in a week and she is installing it rfing in her car but she said it is entirely too upright in her car. I will see her in a few hours so any suggestions will be appreciated!

Also does the Scenera allow for a different angle for older kids???

She said they also got 2 britaxes but does not know exactly what seat that are also very upright in their cars..

She is installing scenera in a 2012 mazda 3.

Take some noodles along, if you have, especially for the Scenera. It could be that they are also not in recline mode yet.

I have always needed a pyramid of three noodles to install the Scenera in my car or in any of my family's cars. :)

Yup. I find noodles easier, but a towel works too.

You can also just jam the front edge of the seat into the vehicle seat at the appropriate angle.

Sceneras require lines level with ground, so fully reclined. Even for older kiddos.

Totally no expert here, but I don't think the line is level. It's looks like its between 35-40* :( I hate that the Scenera has to be fully reclined for older kiddos.

I just noticed that the seat in the photo also has shelf-liner! This is a photo from 2006. Before we knew about the issue with the shelf-liner. That was also when Dorel told me it didn't matter if the line was level or not. Again, this was pushing 8 years ago...
