Travel cart/transporter for Combi Coccoro

We are flying with 2 Coccoros over Christmas and won't have a stroller with us. I want something like the Brica travel cart but I am concerned that the Coccoro won't fit on it because the base is round. Anyone have any suggestions? We won't have any rolling bags with us so attaching to that isn't an option. I could possibly get a stroller that I could strap them to but I'd rather strap the kids into the car seats and attach to a cart type device move them through the airport on the cart. Bonus points if you can pull it down the aisle of an airplane!

The problem with pulling it down an aisle will probably be the width of the seat, not the width of the cart.

I don't have a Cocorro to try, but I liked my basic Sampsonite cart when I flew with Marathons. It was (unintentionally) LATCH compatible. How soon do you need it? Can you just buy two carts to try out and return the one you like least?

You may want to ask for recs on the air travel forum.

Coccoros fit on the new universal Snap N Go- somewhere on this board there's a picture of two of them in a double.

I don't recommend pulling the kids down the aisle in the car seats anyway, and Coccoros are pretty light. I'd be ok getting them to the gate in whatever I rigged anyway, then getting the kids back out to get on the plane and carrying my seats (I'd want to carry them anyway so as not to bump legs.) That's my preference, though, YMMV. :)

Yea we can make it work with them I think. I am mostly concerned about carrying a car seat and a baby who doesn't walk down the aisle but I'm sure we can figure something out.

Thanks ladies.

Do you babywear at all? Or have access to someone who does? Even if you're not going to wear him at all the rest of the trip, a compact carrier may be worth the space it takes up if it will make getting on the plane with his seat easier.

I do have a carrier that I love and my son does not but I can definitely do that for loading onto and off the plane. I think I need something lightweight because my Beco is huge!

How heavy are the babies?

I flew with my dd2 in a CCO last fall. I strapped her into the coccoro and carried her onto the plane in the seat. I could put my arm through the ff belt path and hold her in front of me as we went down the aisle. People got a kick out of her.

Yep, it's a light seat. I've carried my daughter in it and installed it with her strapped in a few times now, though not on a plane.

We just use the cheapy Wal-Mart/Target luggage cart and strap the carseat to it using bungee cords. We wore the baby and just rolled the seats behind us down the aisle. I consider a carrier indispensable when traveling by air with kiddos. We've taken a stroller a few times, with a carrier too, but I can live without the stroller whereas the carrier makes it so much easier. Not having to take them out through security and being able to get on the plane easier are priceless IME.

This is the Sureride and CCO on the cart but the CCO fits just fine on it alone. DS1 has ridden in the seat while it was on the cart.

We will be flying with 2 Coccoros and our kids who at that time will be 9 months and 26 months. I can probably just carry one seat with the 9 month old in it because he is little. Our daughter can walk and she'll be fine.

My hope is that we can strap them into the seats and pull them on the cart through the airport. I don't need a stroller at my destination (my mom already has one) so just looking to transport the kids and the seats through the airports easily and we have a layover. My husband is reluctant that he is going to be the pack horse so I'm trying to make it as easy as possible on all of us.

I have the go go kids and britax carts and I much prefer the britax one. So easy to install seat with latch connectors and top teather strap.

DS1 did ride in the CCO on the luggage cart from Wal-Mart on another trip. No problem. We wheeled him right down the aisle. This is the cart: http://www.walmart.com/ip/TravelKart-Metal-Luggage-Cart-Black/13029467
