If you could buy ANY highback booster, which one would you purchase?

My seven-and-a-half-year-old niece has decided that she significantly prefers highback boosters over backless boosters. Last night, she informed me that backless boosters are now uncomfortable (when she is in a NBB, she rides in a Graco Turbo, Harmony Literider, Harmony Transit, Evenflo Amp, and Clek Olli) because they have no place to rest her head or to cuddle with her "lovey" and stuffed bear. She stated, "I strongly prefer boosters with headrests. They are far superior to the phonebook boosters!" (she calls NBB "phonebook boosters.")

DN does have a Graco Nautilus (HBB mode) in one of her parents' cars, a Cosco highback booster (which I have SERIOUS reservations about, but her grandfather bought it for her and she likes it :() that she sometimes uses in another of her parents' vehicles (the rest of the time, she's in a NBB), and a Britax Parkway SG and Recaro Vivo in my car (though she is sometimes in a NBB instead), so it isn't as if there is a shortage of boosters for this kiddo.

I would like to offer her parents a new highback to replace the Cosco (if they'll go for it, of course), but am in need of advice regarding WHICH seat.

~ Kiddo is 7.5
~ Kiddo weighs around 55-60 pounds (I think...she's slender in build)
~ Kiddo is tall (90%), with both a long torso and long legs
~ All vehicles have LATCH, so a LATCH-able booster is fine.
~ I would like to get the best booster possible for the least amount of money possible since I think this "need" for a HBB will be relatively short-lived.

What suggestions do you have? How can I get the most "bang for my buck" when buying her a new HBB?

What are your reservations about the Cosco? Is it the Pronto?

Because Bridget is seriously in love with her Boost Air Protect, which is basically a Pronto, with bigger, Air Protect-filled headwings.

As long as there is vehicle head support, it is actually a seriously excellent choice. And you gain a little depth when the back comes off, but it is actually pretty "deep" to start with.

And bang for buck wise, it's one of the best on the market.

No, it is the horrid Voyager. :( :( :( She likes it, which makes me sad. The lap belt positioning is actually not that bad on her, but the shoulder belt guides don't allow for the belt to retract, so I worry. A lot.

I haven't been able to check the DOM on it, but it looks horribly old. I haven't a clue where her grandfather got it. DN's parents said they only stuck it in the car for her because they had converted her Nautilus back into a harnessed seat (temporarily) for her brother, and needed a booster in each car. Well, she fell in love with the Voyager while it was in the car. :( She now has the Voyager part-time in one car (with a NBB the rest of the time) and the Nautilus (in HBB mode) in the other car.

Fantastic! Thanks!

I'll be getting a Recaro Performance booster for my daughter as soon as I decide to booster her full time. She's 6.5 but tiny, 43#, 44".
