Britax Boulevard Frontier Pioneer, Diono Radian - WHICH ONE!?

I have a small 3.5 yr old who I am looking to buy a new carseat (little sis gets his existing one). I'd love to buy one seat that will last a long time. *Which seat is the safest?* Secondary considerations are width (so we can fit another person/seat in the back) and comfort. I would love to get something that he can be in for a number of years, but not if that will compromise safety (hence the britax blvd being on the list). Narrowed it down to the seats in the title. Which would you go with? Or another seat altogether? Thanks in advance!!

Is your child rearfacing or forward facing? If they are forward facing, I would look at the Pioneer or Frontier since the Boulevard and Radian are convertible seats (since you wouldn't be using them rearfacing it would be kind of a waste). How much does your child weigh and how tall are they? The Pioneer and Frontier are both great seats (I personally own a Pioneer and love it) but if your child is on the smaller side, you would probably be fine with the 70 pound harness limit of the Pioneer vs the 90 pound harness limit of the Frontier.
Also what car would the seat be going in? The Pioneer and Frontier are fairly wide, and that's one case where you might want the Radian, depending on the vehicle, since the Radian is narrow.
