I have a 2010 year Sunshine Kids Radian Premier, RF with an angle adjuster.
While stuck going 15km/h on the highway on Saturday, I thought I'd take a moment to re-read the manual (I was a passenger!!) and see if there was any mention of torso height or shell above head height for RF. There is a brief mention about maximum (overall) height of a child allowed RF, but it's not even repeated in the RF section. I know that techs generally allow RF to a certain height, with a specific amount of hard shell above the head but I can't remember what it is.
My daughter is about 38# and 41" tall, so by their numbers we still have some space by weight and total height. I measured the position of her head in the seat (while it was installed) and she has 3" of hard shell above her head - I think. Perhaps it's slightly less as the top of this seat curves and I wasn't quite sure where to measure it to.
Anyways, if someone could let me know what the "hard shell" number is so that I know to watch for that or any of the other "maximums", I'd appreciate it.
Thanks in advance!
