I finally found 1 disadvantage to ERF

My kid has his Left and Right mixed up. :D

We have a GPS in our car, so when we use it, the voice says "Turn Right in 500 feet" etc. Well even when we do not use it now, Jordan knows practically our whole route home, so he will say "Turn Right daddy turn Right" or "Turn Left daddy turn left"

We, recently he has started doing this outside of the car, and he gets it wrong all the time. He definately knows the difference between right and left, he is very consistent, but he thinks right is left and left is right. :D

LOL!

Okay, so there is one disadvantage. Tell Jordyn it is okay, though. My aunt, who is a DOCTOR, mixes up right and left. :)

LOL!!! Never thought of that one!

While we were in the car, DH was trying to explain behind and in front of to DD who is RF. It was quite a funny conversation!

lol yeah it's hard on the medical field because their right is your left! So "right sided pain" is on your left side when you're looking at them.

LOL, that's cute. My poor DH gets left and right mixed up when he's forward facing, and a GPS voice gizmo might not help him out much. :) It was quite the experience when I was teaching him how to drive. I'd tell him to turn right, and he would try to do exactly the opposite, or vice versa.

My mother is horrible with left/right. When she's visiting, I have to tell her "turn towards your side" or "turn towards my side" she'll do the opposite if I say left/right instead.
