Our Target never has online returns priced very low. That was an awesome deal! Cherry Pie seems to demand a slight premium. I paid full price for mine. Then I keep using the KeyFit because it's easier.

I never come across great deals like that at the Target stores in my area! Just like we get crappy toy clearance deals, nothing like the deals Holly posts about!

I worked at a Target for 6.5 years and it depends on the store

It used to be that on-line returns were brought to the price change team to process and mark down. Usually you would scan it and the system prompts a price point; it always seemed random.

If allowed, the team leader of price change can manually change the price down to a certain % that is allowed by that local store. Some stores don't allow manual mark down, instead they have to mark it down each week as the system prompts. That's why some stores have better on-line mark downs than others.
