Any new information about this seat?
I haven't found very much on it, but my sister saw it today and now wants it for her car and to switch the Nautilus to be a backup.
Anyone actually have it? know the top harness height?

The car it would go in is a 1994 Altima without top tethers(planned to get them retrofitted, called and were told that they don't do it for that year anymore?)

I know one came through our inspection station when I wasn't there and it took 3 techs, an instructor, a call to Baby Trend, and nearly 2 hours to get it installed properly. It came out of the box set up improperly. Based on their experience, I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

What was it she liked about it? Color/pattern? If so post here and post if shes a tall/short/heavy/light kid in general and we can help recommend a good one instead.

I think the top harness height was measured at about 17-17.25". I heard it can be ok to install with LATCH but really, really difficult to install with seatbelt as there's 2 different paths for use with TT or without TT. Plus, as PP mentioned, the whole setting it up part...

I honestly don't know what it is she liked about it; just that she sent me a photo of the chest clip and was VERY excited about it since it says "correct position on child" and she liked how light it is... I told her that everything I've read is that its not a good/easy install, that I think the Nautilus would last a lot longer harnessed and it would be one of those seats that IF she got she'd probably not want to be moving it around so how light it is wouldn't really matter.

It may be that she liked the blue; but I keep tell her and mom if they're going to buy a spare seat to look at the Sureride, even if we wouldn't use it rear facing with her, our step-sister is having a baby end of October/beginning November so as a spare it would serve both of them.

Jordyn is 4years, 43inches, and between 35 and 38lbs depending on what she's wearing/been eating.
