Pictures of our new Radian cover

No one else seems to care that I have a new cover for our Radian :rolleyes:but I just have to share somewhere.

Here is a picture of my DS in his new Desert cover on his Radian which is installed in my MIL's van.
It is not as bright in real life as the stock photos but I still like it..DS calls it his yellow car seat. Now I just need to find the matching strap covers.(BTW the straps always look loose but I swear they are always as tight as possible:confused:

Thank you to another member here who sold it to me.

For fun here he is in his Blue Radian in our van.

Oooh I like that color. When I got my last radian I thought I was getting that color. But mine has grey on the sides and a light brown in the middle. I like yours a lot better.

I think that's the color of our first Radian. Piper picked it out. I wanted the blue, but it was her butt going in it, so she picked.

Our harness looks that way too. Frustrating. And one side tightens to the point of discomfort while there's still the tiniest pinch left on the other side.

The blue is still my favorite cover for our Radian. It is the one that DS picked and I had to search the ends of the earth for.

But the Desert is a nice change from the Grey.
I love covers..I guess it replaces my need for collecting things since my diaper stash/baby carrier collections are complete:)

My MIL seems really happy with having the Radian in her van...she likes the low profile and easy to use harness clip..since she has difficulty lifting DS/and clipping/unclipping. DS was in the Touriva in her van until now.

Yup I LOVE LOVE LOVE my Zebra cover....I went crazy and bought a bunch of Mod Zebra Gybo clothes on e-bay to match. If they made a Big Cat cover for the MA or even a Giraffe I would be so happy.

Hi! I'm new here, so I hope I'm doing this right.

I'm looking to replace my son's Evenflo Triumph V, which is almost out grown by height.

My son is 3 yrs 5 mos, 39 inches, 33.5 lbs, so very close to your son. Is your son comfortable in the Radian for long car trips? Does he sleep in it and if so does the Radian give him any head support?

I love the Triumph seat and my son is very comfortable in it. My only complaint is that when he sleeps his head falls sideways onto his shoulder.

Thank you for posting the pictures. It's good to see how much room he had in the seat.

Hi

He has no complaints about it, well at the beginning about the straps being tightened but now he is used to it.

Usually our trips are no more then an hour at a time and even then he falls asleep and we usually let him sleep in the car depending on where we are.

We did do a 18 hour road trip last month and he complained a lot but not about his seat:)

This is what happens when he is sleeping.

It doesn't seem to bother him but I do plan on buying a Sunshine Kids Comfy Soft. Not something I would normally do but it appears to be the same insert sold in the Radian 80. I'm just waiting the store to stock it Grey. I will not be using it on any other seat besides the Radian though.
