Traveling by plane Infant Orbit or Foonf?

I'm heading across country at the end of the month and currently debating on which carseat I should take. We have an infant Orbit seat that my daughter is just outgrowing (1.5" from top and 8 lbs off). I've purchased a new foonf as our next seat but am nervous about lugging it through the airport by myself (I did get the wheelie bag promotion). I have purchased a seat for her but can't find any info on successful Orbit infant installs. If it was you, which would you take? Any advice is appreciated!
