Is $189 a good price for a 2006 Baby Jogger City Series Single?

I know the new ones go for $300 plus, if you were me would you jump at this price? Also, do you think it would be comfortable enough for the over 40# crowd? My girls are 42 and 44# and between 39-43" tall. I need something that either one can sit in when their feet get tired no matter where we are. Just can't stand the Sit n Stand anymore and they are both too heavy now anyway. Help me decide please?!!

Anyone? I'm not a stroller expert and especially would like to know if bigger kids would fit in this. Is the 2006 a decent model or should I just skip it?

I have a double and my older daughter is 38in with plenty of room to grow. HTH

Just wanted to add that mine is a 2006 also and I LOVE it. It is so comfy for my girls and very easy to push with both of them in it (a combined weight of about 52 pounds) I think it sounds like a great deal personally.

Well, I did go ahead and order it at that price, and its due to be delivered tomorrow. Hope dh doesn't kill me lol! I really hope both of the girls are able to fit in it comfortably - we don't use a stroller all that often any more, but when we do its really needed. They both get tired of walking easily.
