Just wanted to add that the straps are not removable with this seat either (for replacing). Also all car seat straps should never be "washed" per se, but spot cleaned. Always follow the instruction manual on how to clean any car seat! :-D

Well there are certainly advantages to both and will probably come down to personal preference.
The next fit has a higher rear facing height limit and a no 're thread harness. It has the super cinch lower anchor tightening system which is neat and seems to be a nice comfy seat. The Radian will get you another 5lbs rear facing and is also a comfy seat with memory foam padding. It fits well it tight spaces especially with the angle adjuster installed.
I don't think you can go wrong with either one!

I've had both and we far prefer the NextFit in this house. It is very comfortable and has lots of room for rear-facing older kiddos. My 38" 3 yo picks the NextFit every time he has a choice which seat to sit in. It is easy to install with LATCH. We've been using it since March and I really don't have any complaints.

try both in your car before making a decision, I could not get the nextfit to install right in my car rear-facing but have no problems with my radian.

Yep - same here. I really really like the Nextfit. I didn't think i would - but i have been proven wrong. ;) FTR i hated and i mean HATED my Radians/Dionos. Such a pain to install IME and there are very specific things about the seat you have to follow - eg safe stop on the harness for FF up to 40lbs. I also hated that the Radian did not have lock offs. I just prefer them as a feature of a seat.

My all time favorite love for a convertible is the TrueFit, but the Nextfit is a very close second :)

Yes BRU will let you try to install their displays in your car - you have to ask and an employee will accompany you. They are not trained CPST people though so just know they know little to nothing about how to install stuff and won't be much help. With the Nextfit you probably won't need any - the Radian works really easily in some cars and not so much in others. So just try it out and see.
