Maxi Cosi Priori

Another seat we never talk about. I came across one on CL yesterday and thought maybe I would have liked it rather than the Coccoro. It always kind of reminded me of the RA40.

So, what are it's short comings, besides it's obvious ones (low limits, short shell.)

I saw one in person once. It's like a high quality, well padded, expensive, cuter Maxi Cosi version of a Scenera.

It can recline when installed FF. Pretty cool.

Its been discontinued for almost 2 years (in the US) and replaced by the Pria. I was planning on getting the Priori because I had heard good things about it fitting in the mini cooper. I ended up buying a Coccoro (which I love and will be sad when its outgrown).

While I like the Coccoro, I'm not in love with the install. Really, I think when I next get a car it will not have leather seats.

I loved the Priori! It fit great RFing in my small back seat, had a nice recline, had hooks instead of velcro to hold the straps out of the way while I was putting my son in the seat, & was well padded. It was my favorite seat ever. We never used it FFing because I kept my DS rearfacing until 4 & he outgrew the Priori RFing around 2 so we sold it.
