Need help with an Infant bucket.

I need to find a bucket for a friend.

Now I have not bought a bucket in 6 years. :)

She does not have a lot of money. I have been searching for her but to be honest, I am a little lost.

To me a 22lb limit. seems to be a waste when for 20.00 in some cases you can get a 35lbs limit.

I remember a conversation her about front adj and rear adj.

I found these:

Wanted to know what you think..

She wants to stay around 100.00 or so.

I am going to go check target and bru for some clearance seats but wanted to know your favorite buckets and what you think is really important.

She has an Odyssey. It would have to be about a 2006-2009? I think.

Thanks!

ETA: What about this one?

Re: Need helps with an Infant bucket.

I like the Evenflo Embrace 35 a lot! The On Board 35 would be my second choice, but you can get the air version for $99.99 (no tax, at least when I ordered in NY). ;) The Air version has a seat belt lock off on the base and premium LATCH connectors.

I bought some as program seats when they were <$70/each and they arrived hot off the assembly line! The date of manufacture was the week prior.

ETA: The Embrace 35 DLX also has premium LATCH connectors (but I don't think it has a seat belt lock off?) and the same exact one you linked is cheaper at Walmart. http://www.walmart.com/ip/Evenflo-Embrace-DLX-Infant-Car-Seat-Quinn/21670272

The Evenflo Embrace 35 goes for about $80 at Walmart, I think it's an excellent seat. Very lightweight, roomy (as in might actually last a child past 20 lbs), fits even preemies, affordable, easy to install, has anti rebound feature, and comes in nice colors. If I personally was looking at "budget seats" this would be my choice.

When I had one in my possession, I so wished I had a baby (besides a doll) to put in it. lol It was cute too!

Burlington also has some good deals, although I don't know much about the specific seats.

First Years Via for $99. http://www.burlingtoncoatfactory.co...ia-Infant-Seat-Spiro-Navy-Gray-361258972.aspx

Evenflo Serenade for $89. http://www.burlingtoncoatfactory.co...nade-Infant-Car-Seat-Honeycomb-332635896.aspx

Baby Trend Flex Loc for $79 http://www.burlingtoncoatfactory.co...s/Flex-Loc-Infant-Car-Seat-Ion-380341938.aspx

I'm assuming based on your original post that she doesn't want pink, but just in case:
OnBoard 35 for $59. http://www.burlingtoncoatfactory.co...35-Infant-Car-Seat-Pink-Petals-368676324.aspx

I ,, my Via!

It doesn't fit in as many strollers as most seats do, and I am required to use the base with it, but neither of those "issues" upsets me in the least.

  • Its handle rocks. it is very comfortable to carry.
  • It fits TEENY babies just as well as it fits gigantic babies
  • It is SUPER easy to adjust the harness
  • The base is SUPER easy to install in every vehicle in which I have ever installed it.
  • The canopy isn't too bad. It snaps to the back of the seat, and can be unsnapped and moved around to block the sun.
  • The upholstery wipes clean very easily
  • The harness adjuster is smooth as silk
  • The seat really isn't THAT heavy, or at least it doesn't feel like it is!
