Shoulder strap height question

I've been wondering about shoulder strap height in my Boulevard 65. After putting the cover back on after my daughter peed in it again  through the piddle pad:thumbsdown: I keep noticing how much lower (2" maybe?) the slots are on the headrest cover than on the shell where they actually go through to the back. So it looks like they're below her shoulders but at the shell they're actually above. What's correct?

For forward facing, you want them above her shoulders at the shell. If the slots in the cover are off that much though, maybe try taking it off and putting it back on to see if you can get everything lined up better?

I agree. My Britax seats (and I've owned many) have never been off nearly that much. Although you go by the slot in the shell, having it off that much could add slack. If you really can't get it to line up, I'd call Britax for help. Good luck!
