Question Evenflo Tribute rf height limit

What is it? Is it 37in? Is it at least 1in of shell above the head? Both? Do older seats use one limit and newer seats the other? One of the reasons that I got a tribute was that when I looked at the manual it used the 1 inch limit. I just checked again last week and the manual still states the 1 inch limit. Am I missing something?

I think you technically can should go by what is in the manual for your specific seat. I think.

I would probably go with whichever comes first, but I always err on the side of caution.

Hopefully a tech will chime in.

Does the manual state both the numerical limit for rear facing and the 1in rule? If so, the seat is outgrown at 37in or less than 1in above the head, whichever comes first.

In other words, the child must meet both criteria (be less than 37in and have more than 1in above the head) to ride in the seat rear facing.

Some seats (e.g. True Fit) do not state a numerical height limit for rear facing, they simply state overall limits for the seat and go only by the 1in rule for rear facing.

WooHoo! I'll triple check the manual but I'm guessing I have one of the ones with just the 1in limit. No idea how tall nanny girl is. I just know she fits with a slightly larger than 1in book on her head.
