Question Booster in third row 2010 Odyssey

Hi-I would love any advice/help.

Am looking for a booster for the third row in our 2010 Odyssey. I have two forward facing Britax Boulevards in the second row for my two kids (4 and 5/34 and 37 lbs). The booster would only be used for carpooling friends, but would eventually be for my 5 year old as she outgrows her Boulevard (not that I'm in any hurry!). Right now it'll be a spare, but still want to get a good one since she'll use it eventually and will move it up to 2nd row. Have been looking at the Parkway SGL, but don't know what other ones are good. Really want a safe, highly rated seat that doesn't break the bank. Any advice? Have been looking at reviews, but they are all so mixed, I'm not sure what to do.

Thank you in advance!!!

I've used a few different boosters passenger outboard in the third row of our '10 Odyssey.

I've mostly used a Monterey and a TurboBooster. Presuming they fit your kid, both are great choices, IMO, and won't break the bank. I haven't tried a Parkway back there.

We have an '06 so it should be the same. I've used a Turbo and Parkway SG and SGL, and Recaro Vivo. They all worked fine though the belt twists in the Vivo if they are careful to pull straight. That's obvious while buckling though so not a safety issue imo.

I've used our Parkway in the third row of my 09 Ody. It works well. I've also used a Harmony Literider there and it's ok. The seatbelt a seem higher back there and a HBB seems easier than a NBB.

Personally, I'd probably go w/a high back Graco Turbo. If you want to spend a little more, you can get one of their new ones that has added side impact protection and latches in. It will still cost less than a Parkway, and it will fit more kids properly. The Parkway sometimes doesn't fit narrow shouldered kids as well. If your almost 6 yr old still fits in the Blvd correctly, you'll never need the added height that the Parkway provides. (How does the harness fit on your 5 3/4 yr old? Are the shoulder straps still at or above his/her shoulders? If not, she's outgrown the Blvd...or needs the harness moved up. Most kids that age have outgrown the Blvd by height. My son outgrew it by age 4, but he's very long in the torso.)
