We have a 2013 subaru outback and are looking for a convertible car seat to keep our now 1-year-old rear facing as long as possible. Small child (20lbs) with a big head who is not a fan of car rides...

We have a Safety 1st complete air convertible seat with one level to ground line and there is no way he will accept being reclined like that as he is constantly trying to sit more upright in his infant seat even though it is less reclined than the safety 1st. Is it safe to use it more upright or should we just go head and buy a different seat? Would be nice to have enough space for the occasional ride with two adults in the back, but not a must.

Thanks!
