Anyone using one of the Dorel recalled seats without the repair kit?

I have never had the harness feel more loose when I arrived at my destination. I pulled on it as hard as I possibly could, and still got nothing. I ordered the repair kit anyway, but I'm guessing they lost my order. It still hasn't showed up (ordered the day of the recall, well over 7-10 working days ago). Just wondering if anyone else is using the seat in the meantime, or setting it off to the side. (I wanna get rid of it completely! )

I'm still using mine. I've never had problems with slipping at the adjuster; I've tried pulling on the harness as hard as I can, and nothing moves (although I realize I can't simulate accident forces). Also, I'm using the seat RF for a 15 pound (i.e. fairly light-weight) child; my impression is that the problems occur more for FF, but am not quite sure how I got that impression... I think because someone said the Canadian version of the recall was specifically for FF failures?

The one I let my sitter have for her grandson is still being used. There has never been an issue of the harness coming loose. I do plan on ordering a repair kit once I take the info off of the seat.

I'm not using mine at the moment (it's my extra seat), but if I need to before I get the kit, I would. It's either used rfing by my 25 lb 2 yr old or ffing for my 36lb 4.5 yr old (and yes, I've made sure she's not too tall for the 2nd to the top headrest position:p)

When Britax recalled the MA's for apparently the same reason, they just said to test that it doesn't slip, and if not, it was ok to keep using in the meantime.
