Safety 1st All-in-one Convertible or Evenflo SureRide DLX Convertible. What are the pros and cons of each?? I have Dodge Nitro SUV. It is not a big SUV, so am wondering which car seat is bigger, heavier, easier to move from vehicle to vehicle, etc?? Please any help will be greatly appreciated. My daughter is 12 months old, 21lbs 11oz & 29in long. Help please!! Need a new car seat soon!!

Hi there!

The SureRide, hands down. The All in One is huge front to back, is hard to install rear facing, makes a lousy booster, rear faces to only 35 pounds/36", and then forward faces to 40 or 50 pounds, depending on the version. Usually the ones that are in the same price range as the SureRide are the 40 pound versions, which sometimes have headrest restrictions. Making them outgrown by kids about 2.5-3.5 years old. They're also the only boosters on the IIHS not recommended list. http://www.iihs.org/research/topics/boosters/not_recommended.aspx

The SureRide rear faces to 40 pounds/40", lasts a LOT longer forward facing with very high top slots and a 65 pound harness limit, and is generally easier to install and use.

SureRide, 100%. The Safety First All-In-One's accomplish none of their stated functions very well at all. They are a seat to avoid for all the reasons Wendy mentioned above.

You'll love the SureRide :)
