Quick LATCH question

I don't know why I'm suddenly wondering this, but I'm second guessing myself as I reinstall my Coccoro.

When I put the LATCH strap through the rear-facing belt path at the front of the car seat, does it matter which side of the car seat the adjustable side of the LATCH strap is on?

The black seat is our old seat, green one is the one Combi sent today as a replacement. In the picture, the black seat has the LATCH pull-strap on the right side of the seat, while the green one has the pull-strap on the left side. Is one wrong?

I had one seat, the Evenflo Triumph that dictated which side they wanted the latch connector on, but on any others I haven't seen mentioned one way or another. I usually put on on the inside (depending on where I install) so that I'm pulling toward the door.

I'd love to see what other tech/instructors have to say.

As long as the connectors are right-side up, it shouldn't matter. Since the seat in question has non-handed connectors, they can be threaded either way.

Thank you all! I swear, I read through that section of the manual three times trying to find an answer, thinking, "Oh my gosh, have we had it done backwards this entire time?!"
