I don't know why I can't upload pics! But below is the brand of inflatable stairs I bought for our trunk of our van. This allows kids to climb into the third row fairly easily. It saved our lives and my back!
(There is still a headfirst dive into the 3rd row, but the kids are boosted enough to do this. I don't have to lift. The 3 YO is fine, but the 2 YO needs a bit of help, not much). Just be careful if you help them out. We do a swing exit with the 2 YO and it can hurt your back; you have to use yours arm strength only. And be careful not to whack the kid's legs on the van as he exits.
We've lived and learned and seem to have it down Ok. I don't think this would be very doable pregnant though, especially leaning in to buckle over the seat back.
Maze Pets Inflatable Pet Steps
Amazon has them for about $44.
Just add air now and then so they stay sturdy.
