Would you sell an infant car seat with less than 12 months before expiration?

We have a Chicco keyfit infant carseat and two bases, plus the huge travel system stroller. The carseat was purchased in July 2008, need to find out the DOM and see how much usable life it has before expiration. Would you sell this in a local FB group or craiglist or should I just toss it to the curb? Thx!!

In my state, goods sold must be usable for a year from the date of sale, by law. So, no, I wouldn't.

Even if that wasn't the law, there's a rather high probability it would be misused. I might pass it on to a friend or family member I knew wouldn't misuse it. Otherwise I'd destroy it (or keep it for the Babies R Us trade-in or see if someone needed a demonstration seat.)

I wouldn't sell it, the chances of someone using past expiration are extremely high. Save it for the BRU trade in or sell the cover and destroy it or maybe see if a local tech wants it.

You can sell the cover and save the shell for the BRU trade in.

I would offer the stroller and the cover off the carseat on fb. That way if someone already has the car seat they can switch the covers and have a matching stroller and car seat.
