Radian Infant Insert as head rest?

So it used to be you could take the infant side pillows and use them as a headrest for an older kid but I'm hearing the newer ones dont' work? Anyone know? I see a deal on an R120 cover and I'd like it if we can use them - if not its not worth it..

Yes, the infant insert could be used as a head support for an older child on the Sunshine Kids seats. I beleive the design is still the same, but now it's sewn together. One member on here cut hers apart and is using it like it used to be.
