Versa tether

Just needed to vent for a moment. I just wanted to let everyone know that I really don't like the versa tether. There must be something awesome about it compared to a regular tether... When it is used correctly. When checking other people's seats I rarely encounter one that isn't twisted... And I personally find it to be difficult to work with. On the Frontier 90 it is causing new issues for me. What can't they just use a normal tether so that one aspect of car seats is standardized?

Am I the only one?

I'm seeing a lot of head restraints that don't have posts these days - like it's a big camel hump if a head rest. In those instances I really love the V shaped tether on a Britax. It saves me from having to put a tether over a big tall hump, which I find a little irritating depending on how things stack up.

As for twisted, yes, many times I show people how things can be more tidy with just a few seconds of untwisting. But on my list of things that parents do that make me scratch my head, a twisted V shaped tether is low on the list. I do see your point, though. :)

So all in all I'd say I'm in the camp of liking the Britax one. The Diono one does make things interesting sometimes, though. Like for example a camel hump headrest.. oh boy.

Yes... I can see how with those camel hump headrests it helps... It seems most of the cars I work on, they have removable or at least ones on posts.
