Anyone successfully using a Monterey in the second row of an odyssey? Or has anyone tried it and found it didn't work with the headrests?

We have a 2011 Ody & a Monterey. We use it in the third row (it works great back there) but haven't tried it in the second. Hopefully later today I can try it for you.

I can see it would be great in the third row. If you can try that for me that would be great!!

Here are some pics in the second row.

The first two are the captains chair in the most upright position. The second two are the captains chair reclined a few clicks. There is a small gap between the headrest & the seat but I would be comfortable using it like this. The last one is the belt guide we have. I ordered it from Diono. The seatbelt moves freely & doesn't get caught. HTH

Thanks for those photos... Do you mind if I send one to diono to ask them a question? Where the seat is reclined a little... Does it seem comfortable?

Sure, you can use the pics.

The captains chair in the upright position made the booster too upright to be comfortable. Reclining it a few clicks made it at a comfortable angle and is where I would use it for my DD if we were using it in the second row. I would have taken pics of her in it but she was at ballet.

I swore I read in another post it didn't work in the third row.
Does it go all the way up? Just curious since at some point that's the booster I am eyeing too.

I thought I had read once it didn't work well back there as well and would love to read that it does as it is one I am considering next year. We'd be putting one in each outboard position.
