I have a SK RXT. It has been a long time and two moves ago since it was used RFing. I'm ready to use it RFing again for my next child. I can't find a boot for it now. Am I remembering correctly that it is supposed to have a piece you snap on the bottom to install RFing?

Yes, there is a rearfacing "boot" that will slide and lock into place of the carseat.

You can not use it rearfacing without the boot, so you will have to call Diono (used to be SK) for a replacement.

Thanks for the tips. I'll wait until we're done unpacking just in case it turns up. If not I'll call Diono. My 2 1/2 year old is about to outgrow my 33 pound limit Marathon RFing, but we have a little more time before that happens.
