Foonf or FR90? Help me decide...

I recently turned DS2 (3 and a half) FF in his RXT after realizing his AA was toast and what was initially supposed to be a temporary FF is going to be a permanent flip.

And that calls for a new car seat. ;)

I always said when we went FF fulltime, I'd get a foonf (because I did NOT like it RF), but now that the FR90 in Zebra has hit the market, I'm really not so sure. Sigh, such tough decisions...

I know others really like the Foonf for forward-facing, but I wouldn't spend the money on a convertible seat if you are sure you are only going to use it forward-facing (unless you're going to pass it down to a younger sibling, of course). :duck:

I'd go with a Frontier. :)

Just curious why you are going to get a new seat? Why not just continue using his Radian and then get a super cool booster in a couple of years?

Well...just because, really. :-/ And I have a friend who wants the RXT.

I asked him which he liked better and he said the FR. Foonf was "too much fit", whatever that means from a 3 yr old (he means he thinks he's too big for it). :p

We gave our radian to my sister and got DS a frontier 90 when we turned DS FFing. I couldn't stand that he was right on the edge of not/needing the safe stop. We've been very happy with our frontier so far!

I would lean towards the Frontier, it just makes sense as you would totally get more use out of it. Plus the Frontier 90 has Click Tight and some awesome new prints...

The Foonf is just so high. I couldn't deal with a blocked view. Plus it didn't seem to fit kids long enough FF. My kids are tall.

We have the Frontier 90 for the 7-year-old, and my other kids can use it, too. (And at his height it's tall too, lol.) Of course I wanted the Pinnacle but we do 3 in a row so that was out.
