Question Radian or Booster for Roadtrip?

DD is 6 years old & has been riding in a booster full- time since she turned 6 in April. We are headed to the beach on Friday (10ish hour drive). She has never fallen asleep in her booster (first years b570) in our rides around town. Would you let her ride in the booster for the road trip & risk having to sit next to her to correct slumping? Or just put her back in the radian for the trip? She is 40 lbs & 47 inches tall.

Since it is a long drive and you don't know how she would do if she falls asleep in the booster I would take the Radian - better safe than sorry.

On the other hand, my girls would literally cry with pain because the harness hurt their necks so much in the Radian by the time they were that size. If the harness pads prevent that, it's probably a good choice. My dd had a fit once because she couldn't sleep in her B570, but it was in a super upright vehicle seat and she was grumpy anyway, if your vehicle seats recline a bit, it might be more comfy for napping, and the cupholders are nice on a long trip.
