Question Nextfit colors IRL?

I've seen the purple one at BRU and the boring black and cream-ish color at target. Does anyone have a RL pic of Mystique with the red piping?

It's light black and dark black and the piping is on the maroon side of red.

And fwiw, I can install it with latch in the van in about 15 seconds and its the only seat I've had where I don't have to put any weight on it to tighten it. The "pull 2nd" strap totally cinches it down. I found if you don't loosen the "pull 1st" strap and latch it crooked then use the pull 2nd strap to cinch it down to match it's super easy.

I actually like that cover!

I need something that will install in my 3rd row so no latch unfortunately, but I like that it has RFing lock offs!

The lock offs are not the easiest. I had a really hard time with them because the bolsters in my back seat.

Also the seat makes Damian sweat like crazy! He's developed a heat rash on his back since I bought it. I'm thinking about taking it back.

Hmm, I can see how that would be difficult! My seats are not like that with the bolsters but the heat thing does concern me a little. DD2 runs pretty hot...

I'm not sure if your on the car seat safety group but I posted about the sweating and others also have the same issue.

It has been hot here, but we haven't had the sweating problem and ds2 runs hot! However, if you are thinking of getting one, I would wait for the next round of covers. Brighter colors are coming!

I don't know for sure. And now I can't find the photos with new covers. I think there is a pink/grey, green, red and some other color coming if I remember correctly.

Oh I like the red and green! Not sure about the pink, looks pretty pastel to me.

I wonder why they didn't come out with those in the first place? They have the Keyfit in all these different colors!

DS1 is the sweatiest kid ever, literally hair soaked in sweat within minutes of sitting in almost every car seat even in winter but not the NextFit. It's the only seat he doesn't sweat in.

That's weird how it varies. I just returned mine. He didn't fight me to get in the radian.

It's pretty interesting how different kids, despite being kids who always run hot, react differently to different types of fabrics/seats. I guess that's why seats come in so many different fabric styles. I can't put DS1 in the Britax seats without the cover being literally almost sopping with sweat after a short ride. It's crazy.
