The family I work for is going on a trip the last week in July and their son just turned 2 so he cannot fly for free on one of his parents laps anymore. I mentioned to her today that she should really take his car seat so he is safer but also so he actually stays put! She thinks it's a great idea but I had to explain to her how only certain seats are approved for air travel.
The seats they currently have are:
Graco Nautilus
Graco MyRide
Britax Frontier 80
Evenflo Triumph Advance
Evenflo Tribute
Are any of these approved for air travel? He will be FF, yes I know he should be RF but I already got them to RF him until 2 as they had turned him forward when he turned a year. Two is as long as they will go as they think his legs are "cramped". Drives me crazy...but that's a discussion for another day!
