Stride Rite Recalls “Joanna” Girl’s Sandal Due to Choking Hazard. Sold at Stride Rite stores and other department stores nationwide and online at striderite.com and various online retailers from December 2011 through May 2013 for between $30 and $42

Salsa Cycles Recalls Bicycle Forks Due to Fall Hazard. Sold at bicycle stores nationwide and on various websites from February 2011 through June 2012 for about $100 individually for La Cruz forks and on Salsa Vaya bicycles for between $1,300 and $1,600.

Texsport Recalls Cedar Lake Heater/Cookers Due to Fire Hazard. Sold at various sporting goods, outdoor and Army/Navy stores nationwide, and online at Sears.com, Kmart.com and Amazon.com from May 2012 to February 2013 for about $37.

GITI Tire Company Ltd. (GITI) is recalling certain Runway P235/60 R16 Enduro 816 tires manufactured in the second week of 2013 (DOT code 0213). Due to a tire mold issue, the tires may develop splits in the shoulder.

National Beef Packing Co., a Liberal, Kan., establishment, is recalling approximately 22,737 pounds of raw ground beef products that may be contaminated with E. coli O157:H7. All these products have a “USE BY/SELL BY DATE” of June 14, 2013. The products were produced on May 25, 2013, and shipped to various institutions and retail establishments.

Bethel Nutritional Consulting, Inc. was informed by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) that a sample of Bethel 30 green capsule was collected and tested by FDA in April 24, 2013. The capsules tested positive for Sibutramine and Phenolphthalein. The product was sold directly to individual customers in our New York, NY, sales office and online at www.bethel30.com.

Lipari Foods of Warren, MI is recalling ZOPPITTY, PIC-A-NUT, JLM TUB, JLM Valued Bags, ALEX'S NATURAL, Lipari, PK Sunflower brand Raw Sunflower Seeds, Roasted Sunflower Seeds and Snack Mixes, because they have the potential to be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes. Products were distributed from April 5th 2013 to June 11th 2013 to manufacturers and retailers in the following states: Ohio, Michigan, West Virginia, Kentucky, Tennessee, Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, Illinois, and Indiana.

Zydus Pharmaceuticals USA Inc. is voluntarily recalling one lot of Warfarin 2 mg Tablets, Lot #MM5767, expiration date June 2014 to the retail level. Four tablets of Warfarin 2 mg Tablets, Lot MM5767, have been found to be oversized in one product complaint.The product was distributed nationwide in the United States to wholesalers/distributors, retailers and mail order providers, from November 2012 to December 2012.

Sagent Pharmaceuticals, Inc. today announced the expanded voluntary nationwide recall of Vecuronium Bromide for Injection 10mg (NDC number 25021-657-10) manufactured by Mustafa Nevzat Ilac Sanayii A.S. (MN Pharmaceuticals) and distributed by Sagent. Sagent initiated a voluntary recall of Vecuronium Bromide for Injection to the user level for three lots on June 7, 2013 due to the discovery of an elevated impurity result detected.

The Hartz Mountain Corporation, located in Secaucus, N.J. is voluntarily recalling one specific lot of Wardley Betta Fish Food 1.2 oz. size due to concerns that one or more containers within the lot may have been potentially contaminated with Salmonella. The product was shipped nationwide from May 13, 2013 through June 4, 2013.

Natura Pet Products is voluntarily recalling specific lots of dry pet food (Innova Dry dog and cat food and biscuits/bars/treats, EVO dry dog, cat and ferret food and biscuits/bars/treats, California Natural dry dog and cat foods and biscuits/bars/treats, Healthwise dry dog and cat foods, Karma dry dog foods, Mother Nature biscuits/bars/treats) because it has the potential to be contaminated with Salmonella. The affected products are sold in bags through veterinary clinics, select pet specialty retailers, and online in the United States and Canada.
