Question Newborn in a convertible seat

My niece is pregnant with her first and is hoping to find a seat that would work well with a newborn without going the bucket seat route. She's a tiny girl and her husband isn't big so odds are, they will have a small kid. What has worked well for newborns? My youngest is 5 1/2 so it's a been a long time since ice researched carseats for babies.

The Combi Coccoro is great for tiny babies. They can also look at the Maxi Cosi Pria with TinyFit, Britax convertibles with infant positioning wedge, Chicco NextFit, Graco My Ride.

With the Graco MyRide, you need to make sure it's a full body insert. The ones with just the head part and a pad under the bum really do not work well for little babies.
