She can completely remove herself from the RXT I've had to pull over twice this week to put her back in, my fear is she will soon undo the harness but not tell me and she's rear-facing so I may not see. Is the RXT just an easy harness? Any suggestions? I've been wanting a MyRide is that any harder to undo ? She isn't quite 2.5 and only 31lbs were certainly not ready to flip her.

Thanks!

I have a myride. My nanny girl has been able to undo the chest clip since a few months before 3 and then took her arms out. I got a mirror and put my evil voice to work. Every time her hand moved towards her chest clip I would tell her not to touch it. After a few car rides she realized she couldn't get out anymore and just stopped trying. The chest clip on my Evenflo seat is way harder to open.

Is her harness tight enough? I hope that's not an offensive question but the rxt for me is frustrating to tighten.

A light weight cotton button up shirt put on backwards after buckled in.

Not at all offensive! We really do make it tight DH even possible too tight sometimes and it has been a pain lately harder than usual!

Use a mirror, and cue her "I can see you, you're doing to good staying in your seat, when we get to the store you get a sticker". Just keep talking to her and giving positives.

I had to use a mirror with middle dd. She could escape any seat shortly after age 2. And I choose to use a mirror with little dd because I'm traumatized for life having had middle dd appear out of nowhere on the centre console one day while we were on the highway.

I agree; I'd use a mirror. I'd explain how important it is to stay in the seat and that you can't go on fun outings if she will not stay in her seat (assuming she is neurotypical).
