    Hatchbacks, luggage (etc) and seatbacks

I've heard anecdotally that things such as luggage in the area behind the rear seats can smash through the seatbacks during a sudden stop, injuring front- and back-seat passengers.

Does anyone know of injury and/or mortality stats for this scenario?

    Thanks.

Car-Seat.Org, I don't know if it's just me, but your reply looks blank.

Ah, it's my ad blocking add-on.

I tried another browser and I can now see the ad that Car-Seat.Org posted.

While I'm awaiting (sorry to use the word 'spam'; I now see that is a sponsored post/ad, and I've edited this reply accordingly) replies, it's nice to know that my ad blocking add-on works. :-)
