Showed up in as an ad on another site. When I click the link to learn more it just goes to the Safety 1st/DJGUSA car seat site and doesn't even list it. Their site doesn't have any info whatsoever There was also a banner ad with a few different images that played, but I couldn't get a screen shot in time to capture it. It said something about GCell something-or-other.

Could this be a dorel 3 in 1 that isn't attrocious?

I can't find it on BRU's or Dorel's website. If they redid the 3 in 1 so it doesn't suck, that would be so great!

Safety 1st Elite 80 3-in-1 Air + is supposed to be shipping sometime this month and will be a BRU exclusive, at least initially.

Heather and I learned about it at the special invite-only Dorel unveiling at LS. They didn't have a prototype model for us to play with but we saw the presentation on it and it looks promising (even in booster mode!).

It will not replace any existing Dorel platforms - I did ask about that.

I spotted the same ad on another site, but only as I was clicking through somewhere else and when I backed up, it was gone. I hope it doesn't suck!

Yeah, I'm thinking it'll be in by the trade in. The other Safety 1sts are really on mega clearance and running out now and we are planning for a baby gear 'refresh' soon (ie, out with the old, in with the new). If I see this thread or another one about this seat, I'll post as soon as I see it in my store

Yup, we got some stock in on Tuesday, but I was too busy with other stuff to get a floor model open, and now I'm off for three days. Good chance it's out a lots of stores, though!

What kind of material does it have? What are the RF height limits? Are the sides more low profile compared to the MyRide/Size4Me? I called BRU nearby and they didn't have it yet .

I'll bet you a dozen donuts that the RF height limit is 40". Dorel uses a standard formula and doesn't deviate from it. 40 lbs RF = 40" RF in the US.

I'd say 40" also. The Elite 80's Target clone, Advance 70 Air+, is 40" RF max.
