A friend of mine is considering it for her newb and asked my opinion. I'm not really familiar with it though. Opinions? Pros/cons?

I just sold mine on swap. I LOVED it. I didn't use it for a newbie. My just turned 3yr old had room left RFing, but he was getting close to the 40" rule. He went through a growing spurt I wasn't aware of, lol.

I Loved.... the leg room.
the super squishy cover. Best ever!
the tall 18" FFing top slots.
It took up the same amount of room as the MR
No rethread harness- smooth harness

I would recommend it to people for all those reasons.
But.....I DIDN'T like that the headrest cover wasn't removable. And I found that the straps were a little twisty. Not bad. But could be better.

I like my BLVD better. But always recommend the pria because even with the 40" rule my DS could still RF in it. He just out grew the Blvd RFing. I like to buy new seats, but most IRL people don't, lol. And in the pria, you won't scare people with their kids feet touching the backs of their seats, LOL.

The only cons for me were straps being a bit twisty, but honestly it's so nice other than that I could have totally lived with it!

However my very opinionated 1 year old did not like it because she couldn't see over the puffy head wings  I'm sure if she had been in it since birth she wouldn't have noticed though.

Yep I agree, the straps are doable, because the rest of the seat is so nice. My son went in it a couple months shy of three. He didn't mind the wings. But I have a 12 passenger van, and he has a great view! All he cares about are the cars and trucks, lol.

I love the Pria and if I ever have a newb and go straight to a convertible I will get a Pria. My DD had one for a while at 3yo and her only complaint was that when she put her head back between the wings it folded her ears forward.

Thank you all for the feedback! It is rare that someone asks me about a seat that I have no opinion on! :p

I'm so excited for the friend to have a baby. She will take all my car seat advice to heart and plans to RF at least a few years. She came over yesterday to see my cloth diapers and different baby carriers :jive:
