I have a complete air (DOM 2011) that the top tether keeps loosening when installed.

Anyone else have this problem? What have you done for it?

I am in Canada, so top tether is required.

The adjuster works just like a locking latchplate on a seatbelt and needs to be at the correct angle to lock. The design of your vehicle may cause the adjuster to sit at a non-locking angle (pics would help us to determine if this is the case) or it could just be defective. I did have a Complete Air with a defective tether adjuster come through a checks about 9ish months ago.

This happens to my CA in my husband's car. For a while I thought it was just slipping but I've come to think it might be something else. I've never had this problem in any other vehicle before. My husband drives a 2001 Yukon with a bench seat in the middle, I just moved the seat to the middle and will see if that helps.

I emailed safety 1st, by no response back yet.

Figured it was likely the geometry of the vehicle seat.

This is pretty much the only seating position it will work in this vehicle. :(

I have a new frontier ct coming next month, so will likely have to deal with it for now. :(
