One- other half has a hideous car he inherited and I told him if he kept it I got to buy a new seat...

Two- used it as a bribe for dd who has been 85% potty trained for a while as a way to push it over the edge...

Trick is she wants purple... Of course I hate purple... She saw the pic of the purple prosport and loved it but I'm not really ready for her to have the option to ff in her preferred seat so I showed her the plum radian... She likes it even better... Wish it was a little less purple though! Hahaha!

Sooo I guess we're getting that. Too bad they never made a purple cover for her xtsl or 65sl...

It's still new seat shopping though! :-D

I thought about that one after i posted and did a search fir purple seats... I like the fact that it's not quite as purple and it's new :) She doesn't seem to like it quite as much though. The one thing the radian has going for it is it supposedly performs fairly well without the top tether and there is a chance that she may have to ride once in a while without one...

She is now going bt the blue radian and plum one... I'd rather buy the blue one in case we have a boy next to pass it on to...

Nextfit is a good one to play with showing her a few more times though. Thanks for the suggestion! :)

I'm going mainly by the 08 FMVSS compliance data of the seats that did and did not pass the compliance tests. The radian, regent, dorel 3n1s (believe it or not), and the nautilus did... Many of the britax seats didn't even...

Unfortunately the Nextfit wasn't available then and I haven't seen more recent testing... I'm aware that this data is done in a controlled environment on a fixed bench seat and that technically they could perform better or worse in real life...
