So, now that we had a chance to break in this seat and use it for a while...
First off is the front of the seat:
At the lowest setting it is measures about 24" in height.
And at the highest setting it measures about 29.5" in height.
Here is the side view - it looks pretty sleek...
The back of the seat:
In my opinion it is a pretty well built seat (compared to the Graco TB). You will notice that it has LATCH, which is AWESOME in my opinion (don't have worry about it being a projectile)...
One of the problems we had with the Graco TB and Graco TB with SS is that the back would constantly fall off...
There is a little red clip that you turn and locks the back part in while in HBB mode.
This seat has a recline feature to it...
Here is what it will look like once you pull out on the RECLINE...
Next up... some general measurements:
The base measures about 15.5" deep...
And 16" at the widest part.
The depth of the head wings.
Around 6.5".
Here is what the bottom of the seat looks like without the padding on...
Believe it or not it is actually more comfortable to sit on than the hard plastic of the Graco TB's. My daughter was constantly complaining that the Graco hurt her butt and back. This seat by far is well padded and more comfortable in general to her...
Here are my two little models:
- Model #1 is 6 years old (turns 7 in August), weighs 40lbs and is 43" in height.
The seat is located in the 3rd row of our 2011 Honda Odyssey Drivers side. We don't have any seatbelt issues (the Britax Parkway SGL actually doesn't work well with the seatbelt in this spot). We have LATCH and headrests back there... ;-)
-Model #2 is 4 years old (or I should say is turning 4 5/27), weighs 43lbs and is 39.5" in height, his torso measurement is 17" (he can fit into 5T shirts).
This is NOT his primary seat, he rides in a Frontier 85. This picture is to give you an idea of how it fits. Although he is booster trained for SHORT 5-10 minute rides, I still would not feel comfortable with him riding in this seat given the way the seat belt rides too high on his lap for my liking!
