What puzzles between a radian and marathon?

ds is at that awkward stage where all his friends that do not 5 step are in boosters. I still have him rf in a radian and the odd time I have to pick up friends I put them in harnessed seats ff. I picked up one with her booster and she was hardly staying in her seat at all.

I have the marathon and radian rf outboard. I need them apart because otherwise ds bullies his baby sister.

Tried my myride, no luck. Barely managed to squish a true fit in there but didn't even bother testing it by reinstalling all three seats because it was really tight.

Can be a harnessed seat that converts to a booster, as long as the ff harness goes to 65 pounds.

I would try a Complete Air, on sale at Amazon for $143 or Costco for $154. It's tall, 65lbs harness limit, narrow, and no-rethread harness. I have no idea if it actually fits but if you can wedge a True Fit in there chances are good.

Another thought. What about turning the Marathon FFing and getting another Radian (or maybe less-expensive RF seat) for your DD? I think the RF Radian and FF Marathon will fit well together and maybe give you some more room on the other side. Not sure how attached you are to having DD in the Marathon but I would think most 4yos will fit in a FF Marathon.

I have to keep baby in the marathon, its the only seat that works for her back. I can keep the straps AT her shoulder level instead of having them below like some seats which irritates her torticollis (her back and even legs seize up).

Any thoughts on the secure kid?

i have to loan my MIL my myride because ds has outgrown the harness limit for her seat and I don't want him boostered. She has brought it up a few times and I told her in the past he was under 40 pounds, now in telling her he is for sure not mature enough and would not stay in a seatbelt. Since it won't fit if the radian is rf anyway no biggy.

Hmm, I don't know if it would work - but what about a second MA? RF/FF MAs puzzle well together, and FF MA and Radian puzzle well together.

BTW, which generation of MA are we talking about? I've been thinking classic MA, but then realized based on having harness heights at shoulders that maybe you have the MA70.

ETA: Are you open to turning DS forward? Also a FF Radian might work in that spot, is there a budget issue here?

Ds is staying rear facing as long as possible due to behavior issues.... I do have a nauti so I can try that when he outgrows the radian rf. dd has a newer marathon.
