I'm impressed, except for the lapbelts hanging over the seat like that. Screams "projectile" at me.

cool! Ive only ever seen the drawing on the site for those. Its cool to see them in use!
I see that that is where they got the idea for the safeguard go.

I didnt even notice that! yes you will need to secure the lapbelts when not in use, remind whoever loads him of that and maybe tell them to do that with ALL unoccupied seats. I remember a thread about someone's son? who was injured by an unbuckled lapbelt.

Cool! I also see the similarity to the SafeGuard Go. So similar that I did a double take at first and thought it was the Go. Thanks for the pictures.

Wow that’s a great looking seat!. Its nice to know they are providing safe restraints for the children. Now if only they would put those on all school buses.

That's not what it is?? It says Safeguard on it, so forgive me if that's a ridiculous question...I don't know much about those seats.

safeguard did bus safety seats, then expanded to car safety seats. That is one of the bus harness systems, the star plus I believe. I figure that is where they got the idea for the GO, because it IS very similar:thumbsup:

Now if only the GO went to 90lbs and had a tall harness like that lol!

Man those are ALWAYS neatly hung over the backs of the seats! I will ask the driver about them tomorrow. I bet nobody has even thought of that. I know I didnt.

That's what Leila's old district used for the Nursery school kids -- it inspired the Go....

Not only are the unbuckled lap belts a projectile, but some kids like to use them as weapons

That seat is what my special needs ds uses on the bus. They work great. Too bad the go doesn't have harness slots so high up.

I think they did that so even people who don't have a clue can install the seats into the bus. Seems like a great idea, cause most normal people would likely do it wrong if they were all the same color. I thought it was funny when i watched the videos on their site..

They have a Safeguard system on my DD's preschool bus. It's really nice, one half of the seat flips down and exposes the harness system. I was really happy they had such a nice setup (or else she wouldn't be riding it )
The only problem I see with it is that it has two set harness slots. I think some of the bigger kids need the harness moved up, but I haven't mentioned it to the driver yet. I like the sliding mechanism on the seat your bus has.
