Hi and welcome to car-seat.org.
That's a 2013 2-door Jeep Wrangler Rubicon that your hubby bought, right? Rubicon is a trim level used for Wrangler models, while Wrangler is the Jeep model name, and the Wrangler is the only 2-door Jeep model available to my knowledge and per the LATCH manual. For some reason Jeep has a tendency to put a badge like Rubicon or Unlimited, etc. on its newer models indicating the trim level and leaves off the official model name badging from the vehicle, creating some confusion for us to sort out Jeep models.
If it's indeed a 2-door 2013 Wrangler Rubicon, then there is no center rear seating position at all (no middle seatbelt, no middle LATCH) in the 2-door Wrangler version. The 2-door 2013 Wrangler has two side/outboard seating positions in the back seat total, each of which is equipped with a seatbelt and its own set of dedicated LATCH anchors, and you cannot do a proper carseat install of any sort in the middle of its back seat due to the middle's lack of an actual, allowable seating position. (Only the 4-door Wrangler model from the 2007 model year and newer has 3 seating positions in the back seat with borrowing of the innermost lower LATCH anchor from each side to install in the center allowed by Jeep if the carseat manufacturer also allows it with spacing between the borrowed lower LATCH anchors of 15.4 inches (390 mm)).
