I have this iziUp fix booster seat sitting in my cupboard for when DD is bigger and older [DD's 3.5 years now]. The seat was given to me for free [it's brand new], therefore it's kinda "don't look a gift horse in the mouth" situation. It's a very, very nice seat comfort and feel-wise. The thing is -- the iziUp seat has a unique feature called "side impact rotation", meaning it's meant to rotate in case of a side impact to protect child's head; the feature only works if seat's rigid isofix connectors are in use; here is a short movie explaining it. I have to admit I haven't tried asking the manufacturer how is it supposed to work because I seriously doubt they'll spill their business secrets 
Still, I'm really curious Any ideas? Could there be downsides to the feature? The seat has no lap belt guides whatsoever to prevent misuse, I wonder how does the rotation feature goes together with this?
